Correct. We did not have a playoff or even unofficial national champion selector then.

Alabama has a few NC that they had no business even being in. Two of which not only did they not win the West they didn't win the SEC, fact! But Lord Saban changed his opinion on that matter now!

cfb is the only sport where you need to win your conf. division in order to be an nc.

Scott Frost is a punk. First he criticized Saban saying everyone knew Tua was better when he slow played him at Oregon. Tua wanted to go to Oregon more than anything.
Now he wants to criticize Saban and Alabama's program for what many programs have done. We have claimed championships I feel are bogus but last year has nothing to do with 40's.
UCF knew how the system works. UCF was 12th in the playoffs rankings. They weren't sniffing a playoff birth.

I suppose you're being facetious in response to the other guy because, as we know, that isn't right. And to the LSU fan that claimed "Alabama has a few NC that they had no business even being in", I suppose he isn't talking about the rematch with LSU, because 21-0 would belie that.
