Begged kiffin but was turned down.
Told Saban he wanted to become a head coach someday in the SEC preferably.
Saban told him to go the grad-asst route for which Scooot rebuked! Then with hurtful pride he calls his good buddy Kirby and cries telling him how nobody wants to help him be a football coach.. You know the rest of the story.
Pitiful, spoiled crybaby! Still, I hope he finds his manhood and realizes his dreams.

Rumors and petty nonsense have fueled the anti-Kirby sentiment. I'm glad he is doing well. Also, I appreciate his inability to beat a Bama backup QB in a big game.

Everyone knows that Saban is a dick and wears out his employees, nothing new.
It's been that way his whole coaching career. He is a miserable man who happens to be a good Coach.
Good on Cochran for getting away and furthering his career.

There's no doubt Scott comes out looking terrible today.
He'll find it difficult to find a coaching job outside of Kirby. Even S&C, as that went down as he became disinterested.

Yeah that’s why Kirby and Cochran stayed with him for 8+ years and Burton Burns stayed for 11 years.

He was given the opportunity to learn and thought he was too good for that.
