And y'all still couldn't beat Auburn

Bill Parcells worked for Steve Sloan at Vandy and Texas Tech which means Saban is truly a part of the Bear Bryant tree
Bammers, you are welcome. Glad I could educate you on that

That's just how it works sometimes. Shite Orgeron led LSU to a victory over the SEC Champs this past year.......go figure.

Kentucky had a staff in I think 59 or 60 with several future college and pro head coaches including Don Shula.
Found it.
At U.K., one of the most impressive collegiate staff ever assembled was this 1959 group. L to R: Ed Rutledge, Howard Schnellenberger, Ermal Allen, Blanton Collier, Don Shula, John North, Bob Cummings and Bill Arnsparger.

LSU looks like the winner, but I'd want to see coach Bryant's lineup over the years.
Saban's current staff might end up being the goat. We'll know in about five years.

Chuck Knox was on that staff too. Can't remember if it was the year in the pic or the following one.

I'm trying to find a list of coaches, but I do know that Bob Stull's, of all people, Tigers had a pretty dang good selection of coaches:
1. Andy Reid - 1989-1991
2. Dirk Koetter - '89-'93
3. Marty Mornhingweg - '91-'93
That's 3 NFL head coaches off a team that had a high water mark of 4 wins.
