So let's give it a shot here. Trying to make it as balanced as possible.
First let's start by ranking teams in each division based on most preseason rankings so far
West - Bama, LSU, Auburn, Aggies, Miss State, Ole Miss, Arky
East - Georgia, Florida, Tenn, UK, Missouri, USCe, Vandy
Going from that and already planned games. Didn't add home or away, because who the frick cares there are no fans.
This is about as close as I could get to everyone having a balanced schedule out of it. A few teams get a little tougher(Vandy, USCe)but overall it's pretty balanced to me. I feel this is what the SEC should do. No team really gets screwed over here.
Georgia - Alabama, Auburn, Miss State, Arkansas
Florida - LSU, Ole Miss, Aggies, Miss State
Tenn - Alabama, Arkansas, Aggies, Ole Miss
UK - Auburn, Miss State, Ole Miss, LSU
Missouri - Miss State, Arkansas, Bama, Auburn
South Car - Aggies, LSU, Arkansas, Auburn
Vandy - Ole Miss, Aggies, Bama, Auburn
Bama - Georgia, Tenn, Vandy, Missouri
LSU - Florida, USCe, UK, Missouri
Auburn - Georgia, Kentucky, Vandy, USCe
Aggies - Vandy, USCe, Florida, Tenn
Miss State - UK, Missouri, Georgia, Florida
Ole Miss - Florida, Vandy, UK, Tenn
Arky - Tenn, Missouri, Georgia, USCe

Yeah okay State doesn't get shafted here at all.

The whole point is making the Florida schedule as easy as possible.
Lets just make sure Georgia, Bama, LSU, Auburn, and Florida all play each other.
If that's the case then taking 3/4 automatically makes the SECCG, and 2/4 probably does as well. We know the winner of the SEC makes the playoff no matter what, so why not make this a blockbuster season?
I'd be quite happy with that arrangement.

Yea Miss State did get some of the smoke on it. It's harder than it looks to do this fairly for each team.

Unless we all beat the shite out of each other and have a couple of losses.
Assuming Ohio State, Clemson, and maybe Oklahoma run through their weak-arse conferences, that leaves who, maybe Oregon or a one-loss Big Ten team that could sneak into the fourth spot?

There's no other way around it. One of the west teams is going to have to play both Florida and UGA

A 2 loss SEC champion with that schedule would absolutely make the playoff in a conference only season schedule scenario. A 3 loss champion could possibly have a chance as well.
In fact in a conference only schedule any SEC champion would make the playoff, and barring something very unlikely only conference champions would make it.

Right, but if they're playing both Florida and UGA then one of the other games HAS to be Vandy.

LSU - Florida, USCe, UK, Missouri
Auburn - Georgia, Kentucky, Vandy, USCe
Missouri - Miss State, Arkansas, Bama, Auburn
Doesn't match up. Missouri is missing LSU. Auburn is missing Missouri. Likely more mistakes, but I am not your editor.

Damn. I tried and missed some. Must have added to the wrong team cause I added each opponent to the others each time.
