As some on here(most don't) know, I officiate high school football here in Georgia. And every year my association calls the Corky Kell 7 on 7 passing camp all across N.Fulton County. Well, the pod that I was at at Kings Ridge Christian School included Rabun County(in the very NE corner of our great state).

You can tell when you do this long enough(going on 14 years) that certain kids just standout from the rest and are different. Gunner is one of those. The ball just comes out of his hand different. The zip and being able to throw it w/just a flick of the wrist. Our white hat in our group(3 officials per field) said that you could hear the "hum" as it left his hand. And when it hit the receivers chests/hands the sound was undeniable. This kid has it. Rusty Mansell of 24/7 Sports was there and you can tell that he is awed by him(and he has seen a lot of top prospects). Nice kid.

It is gonna be a hell of a QB battle in '22 w/him and Brock.

Also met Terrence Edwards. He's the OC for Pace Academy. Great guy. Looks like he could still suit up, aside from the gray in his chin stubble.

Why don't you tell us since you're so inclined to find out?

I truly hope Gunner's arm is better than his ability to keep his word.

A high school kid didn’t keep his word about huge life changing commitment?

Not his fault that Muschamp and Bobo ain't at S.Carolina anymore.

You sound scorned.

He gave his word to Will Muschamp, not your poverty football program

Thanks Coach!

If you hadn’t fired him, he’d still be committed, it’s not like USCjr can do any better than Champ

Why any highly rated qb ever does this is beyond me with his track record but best of luck to gunner except one weekend a year

Nah. If he didn't wanna be here I don't want him here. Tired of that crap. Not trying to feed the portal with an unhappy player. Go where you wanna go.

I do hate Muschamp and Bobo tho. They can both diaf.

Kirby will shite the bed again on the QB battle like he did with Eason, Fields and Fromm.

Didn't think he was coaching anymore? For some reason I thought he'd retired. Connor Shaw's big brother Jaybo is the HC at Rabun, correct?
