There is some talent on the team, but they are mostly freshmen and juco transfers.

It looks like the offense can be one of the best in the conference this year, but we will probably have the worst bullpen in the conference, and the starters are a huge toss up right now.

It also doesnt help that Georgia might have the worst in game coach in the SEC.

Georgia can be back to being very good in a year or two with the right coach.

Unfortunately, we also have one of the worst, most fiscally conservative ADs in the conference. Blind leading the blind and all that

Poche still holding Maryland hitless through 8. Has now started the season with 15 straight innings of no-hit baseball

It wouldnt be a sexy hire, but bring in Jim Toman. Did a damn good job bringing that Liberty program to prominence, and he was a great recruiter for South Carolina under Tanner.

He is a bit of a dick, so I dont think him and McGarity would get along.

If any team should have a dickish good ol boy at the helm, it's baseball. Jeremy Pruitt in another life would make a fan-fricking-tastic baseball coach

Yep. Casey Mize is very good and can be all SEC if he gets some efficiency and works more innings. 5 IP, 12 K, 1 BB, 0 R

Ags paid for their mistakes with a 2-1 loss today. I'll be at the rubber match tomorrow.
