Gus system needs a special kind of qb and a stout defense with depth.
He’s not a bad coach.
You knew this when he was hired.
His system is feast or famine.
A reasonable Auburn fan would accept this and roll with the punches.

I'm glad LSU ruined your season. See you next year.

Arkansas State will be thrilled to hire him back.
Auburn can do much better. Derek Dooley is seasoned now. He should be ready to take the Tigers to their rightful place.

Everyone knows losing to LSU has never and will never hurt like losing to Troy. Auburn knows...we almost lost to Jack St a few years back.

Everyone knows the 2010 season was because of Gus not Gene.
Gus has another one in him.
The question is will he do it at AU or somewhere else after knee jerk gimps call for his head.

Part of the BS expectations of aubies is that they think their recruits are oh so awesome. But they are mediocre.
Gus needs to poach McLendon from USCe.

The expectations fit the talent on the roster. There aren’t many holes on this team, which is why everyone is so pissed off. The inability to adapt to simple defensive adjustments, such as what LSU did with bringing a safety in the box, is Gus’ biggest problem. Intermediate routes were available and he just didn’t take advantage of the opportunities that his success running the ball created. He instead chose to run the ball on 17 consecutive first downs and throw low-percentage deep balls in manageable situations. This has been happening for years.
Auburn has scored nine second-half points in the last five losses. That’s a coaching problem. Losing winnable games in the most maddeningly perplexing ways possible has been a consistent issue under Malzahn.

Auburn lost to the team that lost to Troy, which is worse because Auburn people now have to play the Troy card to shite talk LSU people.

I hope we bring him in for an interview, show him a few video sequences of his atrocious coaching, the fake injury, and pic of an elevator and ask him his opinion and then when he is about to respond, a very loud speaker goes off with "Shut Up CHristy" every time he attempts to open his mouth.
We then let Mitch Mustain, Dakota Mosley, and Michael Dyer show him the door.. In an impolite way.

Is Gus wasn't too damn stubborn to admit his system needs a running QB he wouldn't be in this position.
He is Les Miles level hardheaded.

Idk man. I tried to tell them Gus needs a QB who is a threat to break one on the ground in order to be truly successful.
They took that opportunity to remind me of Chris Todd’s records - accumulated in OOC games - and Gus’ time at Tulsa.
