Sagarin sucks and I'd bet money those scores aren't done using the same formula for each if they are historical.

Not sure - just copied the tweet. I'm guessing he meant to write 104.4 and 104.3.

I mean, it’s hard to argue with since these were all top-tier teams, and we don’t really know which metrics were used or how they were applied ... but it also seems like a strong, reliable algorithm shouldn’t produce a #4 team that couldn’t even advance past the first round of playoffs.
