Sad to see former HC fetching coffee in enemy sidelines

Imagine seeing Nick Saban fetching coffee at Tennessee or Auburn sidelines. Has zero authority as an intern. That'd be a sad sight.
I thought Derek Dooley situation was sad but at least he will be calling (horrendous) plays. With 8 figure net worth, why not just retire? Or become a HC at smaller schools.

Not as sad as you paying him 8.2 M to go away then paying your 17th choice 3.8 M a year even though your only competition was other schools wanting him as a DC.
