Will be the same goal post Chris Davis was standing in front of before running back the FG?

How bad does it feel to know that a unrecalcitrant drunkard still owned the SEC?

No Scholarship limit was a hell of an advantage in those days. Hell they didnt let Linnie Patrick play much unless they needed a big run. He stayed in Bears doghouse so much. He would have played every down anywhere else.

An advantage that was equal to all. He still had to convince them to come to UA and not play. Speaks volumes to his coaching and recruiting.

Don't make Gus kill that midget like Dye did the Bear.

You don't really believe Bama is going to whoop Auburn, but I admire the dedication to Bama chest thumping.

What advantage are you talking about? Everyone could do what the Bear was doing.

I guess Shrug was too stupid to realize that, eh?

Nope, that would be the goalpost Chris Davis ran to.

There isn't a "un" required, but yes, it was amazing what a functional alcoholic with a strong work ethic could accomplish back in the day.

I recall stories my grandad told me of him driving up to Tuscumbia in the 30s to help "coach defense" for a very dominant Deshler team coached by Coach Chappell (UA teammate). But, it was more an excuse to slip off and occasionally tie one on when he got the chance.
