Only a couple responses in and the usual butt hurt is showing. Saban told you idiots that this was going to happen but nobody wants to listen.
This is a way a coach explained Tampering. Kid gets upset he goes from number 1 guy in HS and is behind several number one guys now in college. Kid stays in touch with HS coach and tells of frustration, who then tells recruiters who pass thru or has a friendship. Recruiter calls kid and gets ball rolling. He stated that to look at kids who enter portal one day and have a new school picked out the next, thats tampering.
Is it happening at all of the Butt hurt responses on here, yes, is it happening at Bama, yes.
Some of you have to be the biggest cry babies around.

When has Saban done this? Kiffin called out Jimbo and specifically A&M by name. I never remember Saban demanding the NCAA step in on anything. He might say he doesn't like it but then he just adjusts.

The whole hate Alabama thing started when he came here. Its stupid, I didn't understand it, don't understand it, don't see their point. Saban came to bama from Miami. Heck, Fran left Bama straight to A&m, Tubs left Ole Miss straight to Auburn and Ole Miss never had this hard on for Auburn. DiNardo left Vandy straight to LSU but Vandy didn't swear death to all LSU fans and hope they burn in hell. I guess its just a thing down there in LA to just be mad all the time and blame Bama. The sun could not come up tomorrow and they would tie it to Bama somehow. Whatever, we wont be playing every year much longer and they will have to focus somewhere else.

If a kid's not happy where he is, it's simple to let a high school coach, on ANYONE with a relationship within a school's AD know, and that he'd be interested in transferring to that school. At that point, there's nothing illegal about the school evaluating the kid. After that, a simple "yes" or "no" answer should be enough to help the kid with his decision.
All this cloak and dagger crap isn't even necessary.
The only time that things would cross the line would be if the NIL question was brought up.
