Dude…I didn't even know Alabama had a baseball team until I heard on the radio one day in either 1996 or 1997 that our team was going to the College World Series.

It's raining and no crowd at the baseball game, Alabama is not SEC caliber. What are they thinking letting it rain during a baseball game?

That was the score? Like I said…I wouldn't know. I was at UA for four years and baseball was the only men's sport I never attended at least once.

There would be some interest if the team was good but I highly doubt you would see the same passion you get for the sport at second tier SEC athletic programs such as South Carolina and Arkansas.
And are you saying UF and LSU are second tier athletic programs?
Alabama is quite the anomaly. Must be embarrassing for you to only pay attention to one men's sport that has any success. Most other blueblood football programs at least have something else going on.
Southern Cal- Top 2 baseball program all time
Texas- Same as Southern Cal
Michigan- Basketball (and they actually have a CWS title as well)
Ohio State- Basketball
Notre Dame- Decent at bball
LSU- Top 5 baseball program, decent bball tradition
UF- Everything
Nebraska- I guess they're in the same boat as y'all
Oklahoma- Decent baseball history
Bama is a one trick pony, sorry bud.

Oh…don't get me wrong. I love baseball. I have been to many major league and minor league games. College baseball is irrelevant to me as the majority of MLB's future stars are drafted into the minors right out of high school. In some cases it's like going to watch a 6A high school game when you attend a college game.

The only reason why I liked going to softball games when I was in school at UA was because I had two friends who played on the team, one of whom I was interested in. That being said…I only ever attended 2 or 3 games.

No…not really. Let's face it…football is king. Football funds the other sports. This is true for pretty much every single major athletic program in the country.

It's funny that one trick pony has had more success in ONE year than your entire program has EVER had.
