We were supposed to play UK this year prior to expansion. They're just going by the previous rotation. Yeah, we were supposed to play UGA last year and didn't but someone had to be Mizzou's second cross division game. Just don't see how people can complain about us playing UK when it's the team we're due to play anyway

Because you play 2 cupcakes and if we get into a situation where say LSU, Alabama and aTm all beat each other that's going to end up going a long way to determine who wins the West, plus you get another glorified week off to focus on your game against us which is not a luxury everyone else gets.

I've already told everyone how this will shake out. LSU will destroy Bama in Tuscaloosa 52-3, but it won't be enough as they lose to Florida and Georgia by a combined 2 points. Bama gets controversial wins over UK and UT to cruise to it's 4th BCS title in 5 years!

I'm sorry but it's not going to be exactly the same for everyone. In 2010, LSU had easier cross division games than Bama. It all evens out over time

Oct. 19, 2013 Arkansas
Oct. 26, 2013 Tennessee
Nov. 9, 2013 LSU

Ark & UT could be good teams this year.

Considering 2007, and miles addressing the media about your reasons for being in the champ game, and the total butt raping your best team ever took, and your inability to recognize the rules.we're followed makes.this one of the most stupid post in sec rant history.

Whole different ball of wax. We won the conference championship. LSU earned their way there in 2007. We beat Bama on their turf. Rematch shouldn't have taken place. You cant tell me that it was fair for LSU to play in a championship game while Bama heals up and gets ready for the Natty.

So we get the advantage once every 4 years and you keep it the rest of the time? Sounds very even to me

It is what it is and I know y'all are too blinded by your homerism to admit that you get this unfair advantage more years than not so I guess I'll just drop it for now. We'll see you in November, I just hope you don't tear down the goalposts after we beat you a la your baseball team.

The purpose of the BCS is to put the 2 best teams in the NC game. There is a point system and voters to ensure this. Instead of crying to us about it, why dont you go to the voters and the BCS compliance office.

"Best" is so subjective.

"Deserving" much less so.

There is no way you can say with a straight face that bama was one of the two most deserving teams to play in that game.

We would, but you've already bought and paid for them.

Yes I can. There is no rule that says you have to win your conference to play in the BCSNCG. Alabama and LSU were the two best teams that year. If Okie State wanted to play they should have beaten Iowa State.

If LSU had won that game y'all wouldnt even be complaining about Bama playing in that game.

lol no. If memory serves Alabama hasn't beaten a single top 25 team at that point. And even if they had it was far fewer than Okie State. Plus they lost at home.

And we said it before the game too so get out of here with that other stuff.

Well OSU didn't have a conference championship game guess that wouldn't have been fair either.

LSU could've opted out of the SECCG, let the winner have the sec crown and played y'all in the BCSNCG if y'all were so worried about not having but only 40+ days to get ready.
None of that mattered to the LSU faithful as y'all were going to stomp us in your own backyard with a huge crowd advantage and of course LSU never losses in N.O Super Dome but then the 50 yard line got in the way and the first and only shut out of the BCS occurred

Nope. LSU had the easier cross division schedules in '10 and '11, Bama has easier cross division schedules in '12 and '13. People have just lost their minds over these "bridge" schedules.
