Tide basketball has made amazing strides under Avery's leadership.

NIT, NIT, NCAA second round, and now in only year four

Avery is owning it

I know that my friend Herman will side with Nick Saban to lead the Alabama administration into the rightful stance of refusing to put up with any more bellyaching from these squawking Alabama hyenas

I've heard that Arkansas is going to hire him away from us when they fire Mike Anderson.

Congrats Harry Rex - sounds like you will be very excited about Arkansas basketball going forward.

Avery can go to hell. The sooner he is fired, the better.

You'd better watch your mouth. That kind of language will not be tolerated around here.

I agree Harry.
It’s borderline racist.

I’m from New Orleans and Avery is a great local boy.

Hell, we even named an Island after him.

I will admit he has been better than Grant, but only because he has been able to get a few recruits. Grant was a horrible recruiter. Avery has done nothing to develop any of the talent he has. He is an unanswered prayer against A&M in the SEC tournament last year of probably not making the tournament at all in 4 seasons. The team looks lost. They can score 10 quick points and then go scoreless for the next 6 minutes. They take stupid shots, make stupid passes and fall asleep defensively way to often. They have very good athletes at multiple positions, but outside of Kira Lewis, Mack and Riley they have terrible basketball players, and that goes back to Avery treating these guys like NBA players and expecting them to be advanced fundamentally when they get to Bama.

One of my closest friends and golf buddy is a HUGE Arkansas alumnus/contributor, and he won't even watch an Arkansas basketball game on TV anymore...he'll get pissed off at you if you try to discuss Arkansas athletics with him.
You clowns are in pitiful shape, and losing alumni ($$$) support daily...and you're trolling folks!

It’s sad to read some of the things said about Avery just over the last 12 or so hours. Sickening.

Y'all should steal him away as the head coach in waiting and from the Pig posts on here that won't be a long wait.
