Congrats on getting your arse kicked so bad you lured the other team into a sense of false security.

No it's not. Saban is telling the truth. Many of the assistants threw their players and Saban both under the bus by doing a crap job. Saban is just telling it like it is. He hired much more loyal coaches this time around.

looks to me that he, like his lap-dog Finebaum, can't accept the fact that a better team beat them. It really isn't complicated. He still can't take a loss like a man. Saban is better than that...or is he?

Honestly, that is a bad look for Alabama and Saban. Throwing coaches under the bus, saying it was their fault, but he isn't being critical. Yes, you are being critical and using it as an excuse instead of we got whipped 44-16 and taking the high road in saying he and the coaches need to do a better job. I respect CNS, but that was not a good statement for the football team or Alabama.

Or, maybe, it’s just the truth of what happened. There’s no point in holding your people to a higher standard if you fall on the sword yourself every time. He does the same thing with players, when he says they played well, but at the end of the day the team didn’t have the leadership that it needed.

He says this stuff publicly for a reason. Does anybody think that he just forgot for a second that he was live on Finebaum and accidentally spoke his mind?

Do you honestly think it will matter one bit?
Every year Coach blathers on about some shite, and most every year he rakes in a #1 class.

They should realize that Alabama beating LSU is a given, not a real accomplishment.

Oh look, the Clemson fan can't handle the other team examining their errors because it's not dick sucking Clemson.

Piss off, it's SEC media days and people are there to talk about Alabama.

Literally no one has said that. Clemson won handily and was the better team.

However, that doesn't change the fact Saban had a bunch of disloyal coaches that used him and Alabama for other jobs. They were not committed to their players, Saban, or the outcome of the 2018 season like they should have been.

Bama cares about beating Clemson way more than LSU. Last year’s playoff felt like Clemson prepared for Bama for a month while Bama had to prepare for Clemson and OU. ND was always going to be a bug on the windshield for Clemson

Not only did nobody say it, Saban even gave credit. But you have to learn and move on. Some people just need something to cry about.

given all much the credit to the other team who beat us and took advantage of the opportunities that they have, not to take anything away from them, but if you’re a competitor, you’re going to respond in a positive way and learn from the things that you didn’t do,

Saban is not wrong. His own attention was nil in his last game at LSU, a loss to Iowa in the Citrus Bowl on a Hail Mary.

Pot, meet Kettle.

How dare you bring facts to SECrant! False narratives are hard to peddle with facts on the table.

He's really not. Anytime he fails, it's always someone else's fault. He's been that way his entire career.

That’s how we lost to Ky, Ga, and Mizzou last year. Damn assistant coaches wanting to be a head coach somewhere else.

Is that why you think Saban can't keep coaches? Disloyalty and personal advancement?

Well, all I can say is Clemson pays it's coordinators extremely well and they love the atmosphere so well that they are happy to stay where the are at and cherry pick the right job and not take a pay cut to be a head coach at a place like FAU....Saban is extremely successful, but his style also eats up and spits out coordinators which is fine as long as you can find replacements.

It amazes me how bama never just gets beaten on any given day. There is always an excuse for the loss. Sometimes the team just isn't on. It happens with everybody.
