Saban said Alabama deserves to be in the playoffs, is that true?

If Saban's right, then which teams deserves to be cut out, Ga or Aub? Committee is not putting two SEC teams in the four team playoffs.

Hell yes it is. Ohio state got boatraced twice!
And if TCU beats Oklahoma, we in regardless.

Absolutely 100% correct

Bama does not deserve to be in. Did not win the division or conference, hence they are the perfect candidate for the playoffs. When gumps cannot get it done on the field they beg for a mulligan because they really beat themselves.

They will make it and unless they somehow get to play Wisky in the semis they will get fricking rolled. That being said it would be the most Bammer thing ever to get in and draw Wisconsin.

I don't really think us getting into the playoffs will be fortuitous. We probably aren't that great of a team right now. I'd love to see the melt if we did. People on here could LEGIT die.

Can't play in conference title game, can't get in playoffs over team that defeated you. Suck it up Gumps, there is next year!

This has been discussed a lot already. The best argument for Bama would be over any two loss team except Auburn.
Basically that would be TCU (with a win over OU) and/or Ohio State (with a win over Wisconsin). That is where the debate would be. 2 loss TCU could be particularly vulnerable to a 1 loss Bama.
These teams are likely safely in and if there are 4 of them, then Bama is out:
12-1 Georgia or 11-2 Auburn
12-1 Clemson or 12-1 Miami
12-1 Oklahoma
13-0 Wisconsin

All I did was ask this question of Saban, and got down-voted, it appears Tide fans are the ones melting.

I agree with every word of your post. No need for me to be redundant.

Right now NOBODY thinks Alabama should be in. All the spots are "filled"
The argument is who should get a spot if one opens up. All signs point to that team being Alabama should the situation occur.
Our resume is flawed but everyone else's is more so.

If Ohio State beats Wisconsin and Oklahoma beats TCU the argument will be between Alabama and Ohio State. Personally I would go with Alabama over OSU because they only have one loss.

Nevermind should Georgia beat Auburn, they'd have three losses. But yeah man, they would still deserve it over us. Idiot

One thing that I have learned about this playoff committee is that they are not consistent with the national sports media, they vote differently.

Ohio State got blown out by a shitty Iowa. Bama should get in

Wanna bet the committee will put two SEC teams in if Ohio State beats Wisconsin? Ohio State has two losses and one of them was a blowout. I don't think they get in because of that.

Alabama hasn’t even won their division. Their BIG wins are over an 8-4 MSstate and 9-3 LSU. I’m sure the committee will lay out the red carpet just like the voters did when they lost to LSU. I’m just ready for College Football to be decided on the field.
