Saban retires tomorrow - would any current SEC coach have a shot at replacing him?
The obvious first call would seem to be Dabo but there is no reason to believe he'll leave the machine he built at Clemson.

Alabama AD Greg Byrne hired Dan Mullen at Mississippi State:

Kirby isn't leaving Georgia. Same could be said for Ed O. At home, not leaving.

Pruitt is capable but still considered far fetched for Alabama at this stage.

Outside of that group I don't see any other coach that Alabama would either consider or reach out to.

Anyone would be nuts to take that job (that could actually get it.) How long would you last with two 10-2 seasons?

A1abana will nose dive when Saban leaves.

The process is already well in the works.

Probably not IMO. Haven't most Bama fans said if not Dabo it's Cristobal since he's building "Bama West".

What does the 1 in A1abana stand for?

Their streak. They had to deal with seeing eight all over the place so they insist on bragging about having one win.

It's sad and yet hilarious.

1 more than the number of ranked teams A1abana beat in 2019.

Alabama has as many ranked wins in 2020 as LSU does.

I think they should try to poach Gus.

A1abana hasn't beat a team ranked in the Top 10 since 2018

I get the "1" but why the "bana"? Don't get that at all.
LSU's jokes aren't landing.

Dabo would be the end of Bama for a while. He is not that good of a coach. A national championship with the easy path of the ACC schedule is much easier than a West team attaining a SEC championship.

Saban, O, Leach, Mullen, Gus, Kiffin, and Stoop are all better coaches than Dabo.

Kirby, Mason, and muschamp are on par with Dabo.

Because a man who lives in his mom's basement has been writing them, and he's their "GOAT". Sets the bar pretty low doesn't it?

Their skill at making jokes is on par with their coach's skill with the English language.

Mario Cristobal if Dabo says no.
