Saban has finally become a cuck to his boosters. Never thought I'd see the day.

Saban didn’t anticipate all the coordinators that didn’t want to come coach for him.

I'm not thrilled about the Steele hire but I'm still fine with the swap.

Steele will probably give some stuff up because we play simple, but he won't delay blitz safeties 17 yards off the LOS or run 1 man defensive fronts on 3rd and 6 either.

Did y’all watch how many times Tennessee got their best receiver 1 on 1 with our in-the-box safety?

Steele is at least not stupid enough to drop the best pass rusher in college football into coverage 20% of the time.

It would be nearly impossible to avoid an upgrade with literally any hire.

Both coordinators are very underwhelming at face value. I believe the sun is setting on Saban. Will it work out? Maybe but I dont think a man in his 70s making his probably last real run did anything to help him win another. IF HE DOES, IT WILL BE THE GREATEST COACHING JOB OF HIS CAREER.

No. He pushed out Golding thinking they could snag a great DC

He had to settle for Steele

Is it likely Ole Miss and Bama got screwed? Yes.

I like Saban and appreciate what he's done at Bama but the sun is setting on him. I'm not emotional about this at all. It's time to get the succession plan together. Saban can no longer put a great staff together and we need elite coaching along with elite talent to beat top tier SEC teams.
