I mean, he got beat 44-16 in the title game with an incredible level of talent and then got punk'd by freaking Ed O at Bryant-Denny. I'm guessing the % of Bama fans who thought Ed O's team would be the one that posted the most points for an opponent in the history of Bryant-Denny Stadium is zero. Father time catches up to us all eventually.

That would have been better if it made sense.
Saban is the best ever. I have no problem saying that. He got LSU a national championship too. But things appear to be slipping away. The LSU game was their first big game since 44-16. LSU had 33 points at half. It did not go well. Bama has only scored 33 points in an entire game against LSU twice in the last decade.
