On having success recruiting in Monroe, Louisiana: "I think that it goes all the way back 15 years ago or how many years ago that we went to LSU. At that time LSU wasn't getting a lot of the players in north Louisiana and we developed a lot of relationships, tried to turn that around. We still have a lot of good relationships. It's a little closer to here than other parts of the state. I think they've got some great programs in north Louisiana, some great coaches. They've always had great players historically through the years. We've been fortunate to get a couple of those players to come to Alabama and they've done a really good job for us."

And then they get called “traitor,” receive death threats, and their families are harassed for decades by ISIS-like LSU fans.

It helps that he is running a decade long dynasty. He could prob own any state he wanted. It jist so happens LA has a lot of talent.

Y'all tree killing, citizen murdering, death threat to kicker making bama fans really need to get rid of this "holier than thou" attitude you're portraying on this board.

As opposed to the warm welcome from the level headed Bama fans when one of their homegrown 5 stars shuns them, lol. You guys are the model of fan humility and level headedness.

Shockingly a coach that has spent time in an area and doesn't piss off the HS coaches from that area might have success in recruiting that area.

Saban doesn't just cherry pick Louisiana though, he reaches into Mississippi, Florida, and quite a few other states. He's going to keep doing so until he retires much like Bear Bryant did when he was at Alabama.

Coach O's biggest thing he needs to do going forward, other then remedial English, is lock down Northern Louisiana. Not only is Bama picking up players from there Arkansas is having success landing recruits as well.

He needs to wall off the state, not just so that he lands the players, but so that he can keep other teams from raiding his state and signing talent.

Sometimes the old saying applies. "It is not that I must win, it is that everyone else must lose."

Saban built LSU. Now he is tearing it down.

Bruh, did a pack of LSU fans rape and pillage your family when you were a child?

Every post I've ever seen you make about LSU is fricking hilariously contemptuous.

He's got a lot of hate in his heart for LSU. Something bad must have happened.

And they should have to give back the money from all welfare, food, and health benefits their family received from the state of Louisiana taxpayers.
