When I saw this quote yesterday it really confirmed it..
The guy is looking for anything he can to rationalize letting Tua play after multiple injuries. The fact that Tua has already had two surgeries and still playing is ridiculous. Also, Saban allowing him to rush back from the last ankle surgery is also absurd. He wasn’t even away from the game two weeks after his surgery. Who does the decisions benefit the most by letting him play? Tua was already going to be a first round pick in the NFL, so what person benefits the most. Saban doesn’t care for his players and instead of being a rational adult, he allowed a kid rush back from injuries only to cost him millions of dollars. Then he puts all the blame on the kid, sucks to be a sucky person.

Saban is correct and it doesn't take a football expert to figure that shite out. In both instances (Tennessee and Mississippi State) the play was dead and Tua had been chased miles behind the line of scrimmage before throwing the ball away just before getting hit. In both instances, had he thrown the ball away as soon as the play was dead, he wouldn't have gotten injured.
Just about every player who has played QB for Saban at Alabama has been able to do this and do it well. Tua continually refused to accept failure on a busted play instead of cutting his losses and waiting until the next play to make up for the mistakes made on the previous play. Sometimes that led to a scramble for a first down, sometimes it led to a turnover, and sometimes it led to an injury. It sucks but there it is and Saban isn't trash for pointing it out.

He's right. Both injuries this year were due to Tua waiting too long to throw it away.

Here come the sheeple... the kid should have never been in the game. He could barely walk after the LSU game. Who was rushing him back to compete in these games?

I think you’re overreacting. And I also think Saban’s right. However dickish it may sound, he’s got a point

Does Tua’s ankles heal without surgery? Why put him through two surgeries within a year, why not sit the kid and let his body heal? He had to be rushed back both times after both surgeries, everybody could tell that he wasn’t 100% but yet he was still playing. If you can’t handle the facts, go cry in a corner.

Debatable. Sure...we were up 35-7 against a vastly inferior SEC West opponent, but the goal is to make it back into the playoff picture. In order to do that...you need style points, especially when you're trying to impress a committee of humans instead of a group of computers.

This is what happened, Saban wasn’t looking out for the kid, this was his only concern. If it wasn’t, he wouldn’t have played that day.

Good.
We pay the man to win championships. That's very difficult to do when all you're concerned with is if a kid is going to get injured on the next play.

Doubtful. I had my fair share of injuries when I played football and I realize now what my parents knew then, that football is a contact sport. Every time you step onto that football field, you run the risk of getting hurt. If you can't accept that fact, then you shouldn't allow your kids to play the game.

It’s really absurd to think people are defending saban. Tua might go down wrong when being tackled, but the injuries had been piling up on the kid and saban was doing nothing to protect him. If anything, he was rushing him back.

Saban is right but I agree if Tua was as hurt as he made it seem post LSU game with that limp and on Twitter, he should haven’t been in the game.
