Damn, hate to see it. Football is one thing, but getting Rona at his age can't be fun. Hope he recovers fully and is stalking the sidelines again.

Sounds like it was a false positive the first time.

In all seriousness, I had an Uncle and Aunt his age catch it and they pulled through just fine. Hopefully coach will too.

This. One of my childhood heroes growing up a Vandy fan passed away Sunday at 67. Terry Compton was an All-SEC forward on their '74 SEC Basketball Title team had was in relatively good shape and passed away after a very brief battle with this.

Actually I think they should let Butch Jones take HC duties so Sark can focus on playcalling

While I enjoy the joke, unfortunately Butch is not an on the field coach. He is not eligible.

Still blows my mind that he will miss 1-2 games for something he has a 99% chance of surviving.

There is no way more staff won't be affected just from contact tracing.

Is there such a thing as a minimum on number of coaching staff for game cancellations?

I woke up this morning and heard this wierd country song on local radio:

"Jesus go wake up the Bear.
Tell him Saban is on his way there.
Tell him it will be a bit odd.
cause now heaven will have 3 gods."

I changed the channel, but alot of motorists around me were crying in their cars. I didnt know what was going on till i read this thread.

Oof, guess Rona got that reschedule with Saban.

Would hate to see A1 chicken out and postpone

This is something I hadn’t thought of. Wonder why this isn’t being brought up?

Ahhh, corona virus death propaganda at it's finest. It's amazing to watch the way the media can control (stupid) people's thought processes. "Well I heard it on TV...it must be true."

Much good luck to Coach. I hope he stays out of the hospital and can recover quickly at home.

Given who Alabama has left on the schedule (Auburn, LsissyU and Arkansas) Coach Saban could sit at home and phone in for practices. He really is not needed on the field as Sark can handle the team at game time, and probably could do the same with Florida.

No worries
