Come on Rocky, you know their is no link to something that never happened. Someone posted this on the Tiger Rant, it made LSU fans feel better about Saban giving them the finger on Christmas day and again when he went to Alabama. Now they all claim it s the truth because some anonymous poster posted it on the Rant.

Yeah, Alabama had no NC's, no great coaches ever before Saban got here. The truth is, lsu wasn't shite before Saban came along. Everyone knows that except for you delusional coonasses.

Y'all wanna be relevant again so let's hire their ex coach fast before someone else does. You clowns envy everything about LSU it's the reason you're here instead of hanging out on a Gump board because it's sooo boring. This a first class website that you morons constantly come to because everything LSU does is first class.

I'm not your pal you worthless piece of shite. Why is it that you fricktards want to change college football history? Could it be you don't like what the truth is? Doesn't matter what some irrelivant butthurt LSU fan thinks. The rest of the country knows what the deal is. Deal with it loser.

honestly, people read me wrong on here, but I'm one of the few that gives coach Saban his props. I knew what a good coach he was while at LSU and hated seeing him leave to go to Miami because i knew it could have been the start of a dynasty like the baseball squad. But you guys have him now and LSU people must deal with it.

IMO Saban's years at LSU are slightly over-glorified. He did an amazing job. But Les has done just as good.

Now Saban at Bama is on a whole new level. Either he became a lot better coach since leaving LSU or its just easier to win at Bama than LSU

Not really. Like I said the year he won in 2003 he was just getting started, he would have done the same thing at LSU had he remained he is doing now at Alabama. Remember he had to build LSU up into a powerhouse first, talent was there because of Dinardo's recruiting, but nothing like when Saban left LSU. Miles inherited a tremendously talented program and has kept it going. On the other hand, the reason why he has been so successful at Bama so early is because he did not have to do the same thing there. Shula recruited well, therefore, he inherited a different program than at LSU. One that just needed to be coached up.

Both of these statements could make for some good discussion/debate if someone wanted to start a thread about them so not to hijack this thread.

tubucco, except Saban never won 10 games two years in a row at LSU despite being there 5 or 6 years. That's a full roster of his players. (And you admitted he started with talent). If he was the coach then that he is now he would have been winning 11 games/yr

And he had a rough first year at Bama. He didn't just get handed the keys to this Ferrari. He had to do a little shade tree work.

I really just think he's a lot better coach at Bama than he was at LSU. I guess we should all be better with age but he seems to have improved A LOT from each of his last college stops

MSU > LSU > Bama

Shula's recruiting was crap. He signed 1 five star in 4 years and that guy was going to Bama no matter who was coach. And the type of deffensive players they recruited were vastly undersized for Sabans system.

Saban had talent from Dinardo, but not a whole lot. That's why he was up and down the first few years until he got it where he wanted it starting in '03. He stays at LSU I think they go unbeaten and win again in '05. Miles first year there which Miles almost did himself. And of course again in '07 and who knows how many titles he has by 2013.

but I agree with you on the coaching, I think he also became a better coach from the Pro experience.

His coaching was worse than his recruiting, and his recruiting was bad. Name some All conference players Shula recruited.
