Provide some links where an Alabama fan is claiming the 03 or 07 titles. You can't because it simply isn't true.
LSU/Saban won in 03, LSU/Miles won in 07 with some of Saban's players. That is the history. Period. No revision.
The whole "winning with Saban's players" is what you are talking about...but nobody ever tried to claim one of your titles.
And I love your username. Without the Draconian Sanctions, we wouldn't be where we are today. So thanks!

You can live in denial all you want but many Alabama fans said basically "those were Saban's titles not LSU's and he is our coach now so..."

It's an LSU basketball reference. Some schools play more than just football.

The actual reference is to John Brady still blaming what he on several occasions called the NCAA's "draconian sanctions" from the Lester Earl fiasco as the reason his team was sucking; even 4 and 5 years after said sanctions had already expired. That dude was a piece of work.

Actually, you know the way this went down. Supposedly Saban said something like that to some recruit, it was talked to death on the Tiger Rant by LSU fans who can't get over Saban telling LSU to frick off. It then became reality to them, and Bama fand say shite like that on here now to frick with you idiots. It works, 6 years later you ate still butthurt about it.

nola.com is not a good representation as, while the clear majority of people there are LSU fans, it is the least LSU friendly city in the state and I'm sure a good bit of non LSU fans were voting. I'd be more interested in what a poll from the BR paper or something came up with.

That's too much digging that I def don't wanna do, but it is def true. Miles was at LSU and that was that. But Saban has said on more than one occassion that he wanted to go back to LSU and that he shouldn't have never left.
