Realistically, how many more years do you Bama fans expect Saban will remain head coach? O/U 5 years?

Genuinely curious, not trolling

He's in for another 10 years minimum unless his health takes a sudden turn.

Sorry to everyone else.

Dude will be around long enough to nab the bear’s win count.

He just needs 5 more seasons of averaging 12 wins to become dangerously close.

Old age comes fast for a lot of these guys so you never know. But articles were posted about Saban's day during the Iron Bowl that he missed with Covid. They made it sound like he was absolutely miserable watching the game as a fan. He definitely wants to keep going for a few more years

7-10 more years.

Already the best ever.

He’s just trying to put it out of reach now.

Over 5 yrs

Saban is a detailed (OCD) control freak. He can't operate in that realm at home with Miss Terry and the grandkids.

Bill Snyder coached until he was 79. Joe Paterno coached at 84. Joe Biden is 78 and the president of the USA. Saban is 69 and obviously very competent mentally.

I’d say 8 years.

Unless his health takes a major downturn (which is always a possibility once a person enters their 70s), I feel like he coaches for at least another 8-10 years. He absolutely loves the job as well as affecting the lives of young men.

Probably 7-8. At a minimum he wants to win more total games and national championships at Alabama than Bryant did, which will take another 5-6 years.

I would agree that he has a solid 8 to 10 years left in the tank - BUT - a family or health crisis would definitely change that.

I agree with this. Coaching is his life. Don’t think he wants to be a broadcaster nor play golf all day. He will do it as long as he can and if he is willing to turn over responsibilities that wear him down.

Depends on when Corso dies
ESPN wants him on the Gameday set so Rece can fawn all over him all day everyday

I think he's there for another 10 years or so and he wins another 3-5 titles before hanging it up. My grandchildren's children might witness a coach come close to what he will have done.

I think he's got another 10 good years in him, unless something serious comes up. The man has more energy at his age than I do at 34.

Ask this: “why does a person retire?” It is usually because: (1) they don’t like what they are doing, (2) have enough money, (3) have had enough of the BS that goes along with any type of work.. Saban likes what he is doing and pretty much controls the BS around him...and the money doesn’t enter into the equation. I’m not sure wins and losses count with him either because he is the epitome of “the process.” Do everything right and wins take care of themselves.,

Some of y’all think everyone over 75 is ready for a wheel chair... it just isn’t true. I coached HS and youth soccer well into my 70s... only stopped because of number 3 above...ie parents. Saban is still out there on the field, throwing passes in practice, and has lived a healthy life. Physically he looks in his 50s.. At the same age Coach Bryant was shuffling and looking worn out (he passed away at Saban’s age, 69). There is just no comparison there.

I think you should be prepared for another 10 years of Coach Saban, maybe more...

I used to hate Saban with a passion but I just respect him for being the GOAT. I hope he retires soon for obvious reasons but I don’t wish it be on bad circumstances or terms.

When he retires we bring out the clone we made from his old hip and the clone coaches for 70 years. REC doin' work by funding this project.
