Instead, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said he is "an intern, an analyst" after practice Tuesday.

At least he is honest...
Butch figured it was time to learn how to be a football coach.

So does that mean he's not drawing a salary?

I bet he is unpaid so this title is just a way for UT to continue to pay his salary while he works at Bama...although it is still pretty funny

Ua paying another former HC pennies and keeping the former University on the hook for the lion's share of his pay.

I'm surprised the firing schools haven't contested this yet. I think most contracts require that the fired coach make reasonable attempts to find a comparable job. Not sure HC to intern meets that mark... analyst is probably much closer.

Hart, and the Legion of the Miserable wanted Dooley out so bad the only worse contract in the SEC was probably sumlins.

This is just more icing on the cake from the hart/jones era. Gawd i'm glad that period is over.
