Personally, I thought requesting bad articles on the Tide was ... weird at best.

This is something he needs to get used to and I know he will figure it out better than anyone else. Tide 1st world problems, I know.

But, he is in uncharted territory for coaches these days. He should seek help for this from coaches who have been there. Bill Belichik? No, he doesn't seem to know how to handle the media either and is even more awkward. He should probably sit down with Tom Osbourne.

His dealings with the media in the past has been at least entertaining but now it's starting to get into awkward territory. Frankly, it's embarrassing and I sincerely hope this isn't revealing of a potential team problem or this isn't seeping into his coaching abilities.

Like we say in AA ... share your crazy with your sponsor. But share your experience, strength and hope with the rest, not the media. That's all I've got.

He is starting to show cracks in the foundation a little.

I can't imagine the amount of stress he must feel on a day in and day out basis.

Greatest coach in history but yet he seems miserable.

Exactly. Tells me he might be losing them. He mentioned after the NC game for 2009 how he could not calm the team down at halftime because they were just killing Texas.

Texas almost came back with a freshman QB. As good as the Tide is, any team can turn to shite when they lose their focus. If the coach loses his focus, well ... that won't be good.

I disagree with the miserable part. He has found his thing. Hitting a snag in life does not make a real man miserable though. He's proven time and again he can solve any problem.

I tend to think he's ok with being a GOAT college football coach but one never knows for sure. The thing is we're just regular people and for sure that thought would cross yours and my mind but I'm thinking your average great coach is usually satisfied where he's chosen to be.

The day Saban ceases being miserable and become content with his accomplishments is the day Bama begins it's decline. I've never noticed Saban being any different than he is now. Surly.

This is true. I'm just noting a moment of contemplation that Saban is going through. And believe he'll get through it better than any other coach possibly could.

Tom Osborne? That's laughable..

Outside of Paul Bryant, maybe Bud Wilkerson at Oklahoma or John Wooden at UCLA Basketball...no coach has ever dominated this long in College Sports.

I'm pretty sure Saban is an expert... this run is in its 10th year.

Yeah my list was very short. I was trying to think of living people. But you're right. He's an expert on matters that absolutely almost no one alive knows about.
