I don't think the issue is that the experts are entirely wrong. Leading with the head is dangerous, and just plain wreckless to coach. However, who is going to teach Mike the better way to coach? If Mike knew the better way to coach 12 year olds, perhaps they wouldn't have needed to change the rules. Like I mentioned, we all don't have Coach Saban to teach our kids.
