Had to put on my headphones to hear it. But he just pretty much tells them that he is their best shot to get to the nfl. And the stats back him up too.

This is the recruiting pitch, that it will make you better going against the best competition every day. Only it rarely happens. Even in the Spring game it usually the 1’s vs the 2’s or a mix.
Standard practice is the 2 deep or 3 deep going against the scout team, which many don’t even dress out for the games.

Spot on. The 1’s don’t go against the 1’s every day in practice. That’s only in rare scrimmage cases.

Can’t blame him for spinning the stats that way but those stats say more about his recruiting ability than his ability to prepare for the nfl.

So.. you're saying our scout team wouldn't blast half the teams in the league?
Our whole roster is so much deeper than almost anywhere. Our practices are indeed MUCH harder than probably any other school for that reason.

I am not sure where you guys get your info? I have had the privilege to attend a handful of Bama practices.They do go one’s vs one’s a good bit of the time.
