Having to play Clemson and Travis Etienne killed A&M in this stat:

Texas A&M 64.50
Georgia 69.50
Florida 70.50
LSU 97.50
Alabama 104.00
Auburn 105.00
Kentucky 115.00
Mississippi 126.50
Mississippi State 136.50
South Carolina 155.00
Arkansas 156.00
Tennessee 160.00
Missouri 163.50
Vanderbilt 177.00

There’s no way holding Texas State to 8 yards rushing would skew the numbers. A&M gave up over 4.5 yards a carry to Clemson backs. A&M could be really good against the run but the stats based off 2 games won’t give us that answer. I’d bet A&M won’t finish top 7 in the SEC in run D just bc of that schedule.

Well, we already played one one the best running backs in the nation, a guy who broke off 205 yards in week one. He had 53 against A&M. Heck, we'd be at #8 in run defense even if you only considered our game against Clemson and ignored our game against Texas State.
