Tomorrow is gonna be a big day for Burrow/Cincinnati talk. One day here in Indy and I can tell you the perception that he doesn’t want to go there is real

I feel like the media is kind of pushing this narrative, but at the same time, Burrow looked uncomfortable when he got the Bengals helmet from Boomer Esiason.

...

WOULD YOU?

I mean, he:
A. Knows he'll get a shite ton of money for being the #1 pick
B. Will see his career taper off of what he wants because it's the Bengals

Look, Miami practically tanked their season on purpose and still couldn't be as bad as the Bengals.

He hung out with his classmates like you suggested

He doesn’t want to move so far away from them now

This just shows you how far Cincy has fallen - they can’t even get a kid who grew up an hour away from the stadium. And the Dolphins suck so bad that they can’t even lose properly - as a Dolphins fan I never cheered for them to lose until last season and they even disappointed me with that.

He really doesn't like the limelight. He always looks uncomfortable in front of the cameras when he is off the field.

He better get used to that then. Any team drafting him is going to milk his likeness and name. Interviews, photoshoots, commercials, the whole 9 yards.

Well... prior to 2018 he didn't want to be in Baton Rouge either. Sometimes you go where you don't want to and things work out.

The game is setup so the worst team gets the best pick. If you allow players control who can pick them. It will end up like the NBA where small market teams won't be able to compete.

It's a double edge sword because everyone plays to win championships. But everyone also deserves a competitive league.

Reminds me of this:

Joe Bozurrow.

I'm guessing you have no idea who this is.

this story is media fabricated garbage. Nothing Joe has said actually indicates he doesn't want to go to Cincy. Who knows as a Ohio kid who he rooted for as a kid, but any quarterback even close to the #1 pick has enough ego to believe they should be the #1, they will be the #1, and they're so damn good they can turn around the crap team that has the #1 pick. They aren't always right, but sometimes they are. Looking at franchises, I would argue also that Miami is a significantly worse run franchise than Cincinnati. Miami has won one playoff game since Marino retired in 1999.

no one in the draft wants to be drafted by any Ohio team.

Both teams are career killers.

At least he is from the area, isn't he?
That's better than nothing, I suppose
