Speculation is a lot of rivalry games will take place week one.

So we get one week and after that everyone is either out due to covid or suspended for fighting. Oh well.

Haha, last years egg bowl was amazing. With everything crazy going on this year I wouldnt mind at all seeing a week 1 Iron Bowl. It would be so deflating is something happened mid season and it were canceled

The Egg Bowl starting off the SEC season would make 2020 a win no matter how things finish up IMHO

Hell, the past 3 or 4 years have been awesome. Crazy rivalry at its best and most funny.
The year OM was just atrocious and had no chance they come out, twist Fitzgerald's ankle into a pretzel and he gives the bird as he's going off on the cart
. I'm then destroys State. Then the glorious mess that was last year. And it is one of the only games on after eating all day on Thanksgiving. It has become one of my favorite games of the year that doesn't involve Auburn.

They didn’t destroy State after hurting Fitz. They won by 3 despite State playing a true Freshman that had never played.

Maybe I'm thinking of a different year then. I remember OM winning recently when they were just awful. Maybe Mullen's final game? Idk. It's an awesome rivalry still.
Was still funny that the cameras caught the bird on camera. And yes, I'm aware of his explanation.

Good gosh I would have no clue what to expect from a Week 1 Egg Bowl with two brand new coaching staffs. Ole Miss would probably be favored given that it's in Oxford (as if home field means much this year) and their change in scheme is less dramatic than State's. But who the heck knows what State will look like in the Air Raid, it could be a total mess or it could really work with a talent like Costello at QB. It would probably be one of the most entertaining train wrecks of a game that you'll ever see.
