RPI Forecast - Expected Final Record and RPI

The expected final record is clearly pretty meh, but the expected final RPI is interesting because it gives a general idea of where SEC teams can expect RPIs to fall based on the OOC work of the league. Once we enter SEC season the league's overall RPI is pretty close to locked in, it's just how it falls within the teams in the league and their in conference performance.
RPI Forecast - SEC
SEC Rank - Total Record (SEC Record) (Expected RPI)
1. Texas A&M - 23-8 (12-6) (#12)
1. Kentucky - 22-9 (12-6) (#18)
1. Florida - 20-11 (12-6) (#41)
4. Arkansas - 21-10 (11-7) (#31)
4. Tennessee - 19-11 (10-8) (#34)
6. Missouri - 20-10 (10-8) (#34)
7. Alabama - 18-13 (9-9) (#43)
7. Auburn - 20-11 (9-9) (#51)
7. South Carolina - 17-13 (9-9) (#62)
10. Georgia - 16-14 (7-11) (#80)
10. Mississippi State - 17-13 (7-11) (#113)
12. Ole Miss - 14-17 (6-12) (#115)
12. Vanderbilt - 12-19 (6-12) (#128)
14. LSU - 13-17 (5-13) (#146)
Expected SEC RPI - #4
Expected SEC OOC RPI - #2
Expected SEC OOC SOS - #1
In the scenario above you have to think 7 SEC teams are getting in for sure with Auburn at #51 right on the border.

Don’t care what seed we get. The biggest factor for us is if MPJ will be back before the tourney

Lol. A&M needs to have at least ONE good year before laying claim to that shite.
Real Big3 in SEC play are Arkansas, Kentucky, and Florida and it isn't close.

So we lose two more ooc games? Don't see it. We had our funk should be fine

I’m still on the fence about Auburn. We look good in spurts. Rebounding has gotten miles better by adding Murray. We’ll need Wiley and Purifoy back to make any noise, but Harper and Brown are playing a lot better so far this year.

I don't think this includes last night's games, so it probably had Florida losing 2/3 to Cincy, Clemson and Baylor.

Enjoy the ride young fella.
Count on him not coming back, and be pleasantly surprised if he does.
In the meantime, we have an actual basketball team again.

MTSU should be a good test, but other than that really just have to wait until SEC play to figure out. Hard to predict UConn would be bad again, but other than that not many difficult tests. Still, Dayton, UAB, MTSU and UConn are decent/solid teams.

If you've had one good year then you need about 10 more to be in the same general area of the real big three.

Yes. You can claim whatever you want if you have had at least one good year. Then you don't really look like an idiot.
But you're still gonna wind up on the losing end of that argument because the best three teams in the SEC are Arkansas, Kentucky, and Florida and it isn't close.
You need to win the several more conference titles before even being in the same conversation, let alone being considered.

The poster was talkin’ ‘bout today.
It was just a quip.
Few Ags would argue that our hoops program is historically a top 3 powerhouse.
Simmer down.

Arkansas has more than doubled A&M's total tournament appearances. 30-13.
Debate settled.

Lol.
In that case, Arkansas beat the #14 team in the nation last night by about 20 points in a game they never trailed in.

A&M is historically one of the worst basketball programs in a major conference, so i can see why youd be upset at getting passed by them in the current league hierarchy. no league titles or sweet 16s in over 20 years? thats pathetic
