with the touchdown catch down the middle, Etienne stiff arms the Lsu defensive back and takes it to the house, Lsu is stunned. They haven't been down like this the whole season. Sports announcer says I'm shocked. I thought if it was going to be a blowout it would be Lsu blowing out Clemson because they play in the big bad Sec and they are battle tested and there's no way they can be getting beat like this from Clemson out of the ACC. They must have been too busy the last couple of weeks reading all of the press clippings. Sports announcer says Lsu need to put points on the board this drive before it gets out of hand. Oh no Isaiah Simmons knocks the ball out of the running backs hand and Clemson picks it up for a scoop and score. This is a massacre. Lsu fans are quiet. You can't hear a pin drop.

Simple. I don't neither team to stop the other teams offense from scoring. But I expect Clemson #1 or (#2 depending on which statistic you are looking at) defense to get 1 or 2 more stops than Lsu 27th ranked defense get on Clemson. Which in turn will give Clemson offense a couple of more possessions to win in a shootout. Clemson #1 defense gives up 11.5 ppt and Lsu 27th ranked defense give up 21.6 ppg. This is the best defense that you will have played this season and that #1 ranking is after 14 games (1 to go) not in the middle of the season with plenty of games left and the numbers fluctuate. In other words its real. The most points scored on Clemson this season was 23 points and that was Ohio State and that 23 was Ohio State lowest point total of the season. I expect the final score to be something like Clemson 40 Lsu 34

Based on Clemsons performance against OSU for most of the 1st half, Clemson better come out of the gate kicking or they will be down 21 to 0.
I really doubt it will be a blowout either way. LSU will put up plenty of points as mentioned and Clemson will probably be able to keep up.
