They are going to have to get so obvious in their seeding to avoid an SEC final 4. This has really diminished the conference championship games, all teams will take at least one game off now.
So four get byes, then 8 play the first round, 8 play the second round, 4-3rd, 2 final.

12 teams is ridiculous. It’s going to kill enthusiasm while getting players hurt playing 12th seed Poor Sisters of the Deaf.

I think FBS should mimic the FCS playoffs and do away with all the conference championship and bowl games. Half the bowls are meaning less anyways and half the players opt out do them now. Take the top bowls and implement them into the playoffs if still want endorsement deals. FCS had been doing ok with the model they use to select what teams go.

These west coast and rust belt blow hards are gonna be pissed when there are 2-3 SEC teams in the final four each year in a 12 team playoff.

Only a matter of time until we get West (Pac12/Big12), North (Big Ten), East (B1G/ACC/SEC), South (SEC) divisions within the playoff. The only reason we ended up with this nonsense is because the SEC got two teams in the BCS a single time in 15 years

I like the Liberty Bowl and the Music City bowl. Both are within driving distance of me.. I hope they don’t cut these 2 out.
The Liberty Bowl has 1 of the coolest looking trophies of the bowl’s..
Just to bad Memphis won’t pony up more money..
Once the new done is built in Nashville it will be a much better gaming experience for the fans.
Even if it is the smallest dome in the country they say the seating will be arranged so that you will have a great view of the game no matter where you are seated.

Yea, because everyone knows that watching the PAC 12 and Big 12 Championship games is much more exciting than wasting time watching 12 teams play a tournament, which includes having home playoff games in December, to determine a national champion.
Damn, that CFP will just ruin college football now….
