The first part? As in the arrogance? Yeah, that part is right. But the rest of that is total bullshite. It's an extremely fricked up idea of the Alabama fanbase. The same shite could be said about auburn fans. Which is why I will again point out that they live in the same state. They are no better than Alabama fans

the part of trailer boys like harvey being picked on for being stupid so they picked a winning football team. all fanbases have those sides but in bama yall have the bigger fanbase and therefore have more of those type of fans. plus those types of fans are just more visible with alabama. they make it a point to get on video

Hey, guess what, auburn is in the SAME DAMN STATE. Your fans are uneducated rednecks too. Being an auburn fan doesn't make anyone smarter or better off than Bama fans.
Most of the fans I discribed gravitate toward Alabama, the more success the deeper the pool.

Until fairly recently, Auburn had been the better program for the better part of a decade. What happened to all of the ignorant trailer-trash who decided that hopping on to the wer-eegul train was the best idea?

They have won more so the hardcore retard portion of the fanbase is alot larger.
Of course. We have more fans, so we have more idiots. I don't think anyone would deny that. It's the way he described it. As the norm for the Bama fanbase? And the way he was describing it made it sound like auburns fanbase is just full of brilliant, educated, well off people. No, they have a shite ton of uneducated rednecks too

IMO that is another group of people in its self. those people jump from team to team depending on who is better but both sides have their wont switch no matter what people that embarrass the school. Yall just happen to have more of them.

After multiple generations of supporting bama, there was not that many bandwaggon jumpers at AU. The problem has not been AU vs UA alum, but AU vs the redneck nation.

I hate those people. I know a guy that has been an auburn, lsu, and florida fan. He talked all kinds of shite. Then said he didn't like Alabama because their fans talk shite......
We should ban those "fans" from games....if only it were possible

Perhaps my memory is faulty...I recall a lot more Auburn gear, flags, etc., during Tubberville's tenure than what is seen now.

Iron Puppet's last post is a perfect illustration of the arrogant hypocritical attitude some Auburn fans have towards Alabama. They claim to be perpetual victims of Alabama fans and brag about their humility in the face of Alabama arrogance yet many of them constantly insult people in the manner that Irons just did. Notice the hatefulness in the tone of his post.
The academic arrogance is a little much too considering Alabama and Auburn have basically been ranked about dead even for years now

Yes, I'm sure it is. Chronic cannabis habits tend to do that.

I talked to someone in retail about the difference in UA gear sells and AU gear. AU fans do not buy many T-Shirts or Flags regardless of the success of the program. Maybe we are just cheap.

I'm not arguing that we don't have awful redneck fans. I'm just arguing that auburn university is in the state of Alabama. They have more than their fair share of uneducated rednecks. It's not a trait found only in the Alabama fanbase. And there is nothing that makes auburn fans any smarter or special just by being auburn fans

Au fans do not claim to be victims, just disgusted with an element of society feeling falsely superior to another. I do think it is deeply enbedded in the events of the 60s.

Elaborate.
ETA: FWIW, I am a 'sidewalk' alum. I went to Bama for three semesters before deciding that the frat life was not for me. I was not able to abandon my lifelong adoration for the Tide.
