Mizzou go away

The attendance announced that day was 52,482. According to Missouri’s own records, though, there were fewer than half that number of people there, despite head coach Barry Odom buying and giving away nearly 5,000 tickets in advance of the game.

What I got from that article is that Tennessee was the only school that told the article writer the truth about announced attendance vs actual attendance (Mizzou was at 83 percent until attendance plummeted). Other schools flat out refused (I'm assuming that one is Vandy claiming exemption) or lied (no school doesn't keep scans - that's just a polite way of saying 'we aren't telling you'):

quote:

In the SEC, seven schools that responded to the Journal’s records request reported that the number of tickets actually scanned was more than 70 percent of the announced attendance, with Tennessee (88 percent) and Missouri (83 percent) having the most accurate reports. Ole Miss and Arkansas each reported that actual attendance was below 60 percent of what they had announced, and five schools (Mississippi State, South Carolina, LSU, Vanderbilt and Georgia) said they had invalid counts, don’t keep scanned ticket numbers, didn’t respond or are exempt from responding to public records requests.

The difference between Missouri’s announced and actual attendance was between 15 and 18 percent for the 2016 and 2017 seasons, but that difference nearly tripled in 2018.

At any rate, the rock M does look nice and spiffy. I still hate the TV sight lines at that stadium but I do like that it has some unique features.

If we are truly looking by the numbers UK's stadium holds less than Mizzou's...

Sorry Baw, we have baller club suites at our crib. Missouri Farm Bureau Rooms and a cute rock collection at your stadium does not impress us.

It did. Pretty apparent the OP hasn’t actually gone to a Mizzou game recently as it is no longer there. Hopefully his brethren will get him in line so as not to make this mistake again.

Rock M was NOT removed. You are an idiot. That was our new coach posting a current picture on Twitter.

I was at 2 Mizzou home games last year.....Rock M still there. Rock M is located on North End Zone. Mizzou renovated the SOUTH end zone.

Why don't they have seats in the end zone like the rest of the SEC teams?

You can buy lawn tickets. Back when we were good the lawn and rocks used to be filled up along with the stadium.
