With the expansion coming and changing schedule, I’m just curious who; as fans do you think are your schools rivals.
For UGA, the primary rival changes based on the fan. The top 3 in some order..are always.
UF, Auburn, and GT; but Tenn and USC are also rival’s especially to fans in NeGA and East GA respectively.
Alabama isn’t really a “rival” UGA just never has played them that often; until post season recently. Since 2007, Saban’s first year.. UGA and Bama have played 4 regular season games and 5 on neutral sights in the post season.
Just really curious what fans of other schools think. For instance I know Bama fans hate AU and Tenn, but do they all consider LSU a “rival”. Is LSU’s rival really only Ole Miss?

For me, it has changed over the years with teams not being on the schedule on a regular basis. Miami and Auburn were two of our biggest rivals when I was a student at UF, and we just rarely play them now. That said I am from South Florida, so Miami will always be on the list for me.
Here was the rivals list when I was in school.
1. FSU
2. Miami/Georgia (depends on where you live in Fla)
4. Auburn
Now my current list.
1. FSU
2. Georgia
3. Tennessee/LSU
5. Miami
6. Auburn
And if you think Auburn and Miami are not rivals of UF then I would tell you to go to the game next time we play either of these teams and it is a crazy environment.

Ole Miss is a rivalry in name only. I'm 60 and I've never been able to work up the passion when playing them. Their powder blue helmets are cool though.
Maybe the Longhorns will become 4th on the list. If we played Georgia more, I think that would evolve into a rivalry.

My Gator rival list in order of hatred is
1 UG
2 FSucks
3 UTenn
4) Everyone else, if I had to name a number 4, probably LSU but except for the a-hole fans on the rant, I don't have an issue with LSU.

This message board excluded I don't think most Alabama fans see LSU as a "rival" like they do Auburn/Tennessee. They do see it as a long-standing traditional game with a team that has been near the top of the league for the last 20 years. It would suck to lose that on a yearly basis.

I don't think Tennessee is a rival. I view Clemson as a larger rival then they are.

Florida/Alabama are at the top.
Everyone over 45 would also put Ole Miss up there but they've sucked in my time.
I'm really excited about Texas coming to SEC. I hope that turns into a rivalry because their entire base sucks. From Egos to ruining the Big 12 to their fall from Texas dominance. There is no Grace.
Tennessee games were also really fun in 90s but that rivalry potential died off with their team.
Everyone over 45 would also put Ole Miss up there but they've sucked in my time.

An Ole Miss fan told me for years OM played every year in BR. I also think a lot of the rivalry is due to many OM fans moving to BR for jobs at Exxon in the 60's, before my time, it is interesting though NBR to Miss has a ton of OM fans.
ETA: I know it would never be a rivalry but if I could pick one team from the east that I wished we played more it would be UGA.

The list of cupcakes we play. Tech has given up. They barely have a pulse. I can't take that game seriously anymore.
