To me, kneeling at that point is just rubbing it in against a rival. It's literally saying "We just boatraced your sorry arse".
Plus, I don't trust our rival to not try to take one of our players out.

I wish Kirby would have sent out the 1st team D when Florida went and got that junk arse score to extend their no shut out streak.
Experience for the younger guys is good and all, but handing Florida their first goose egg in a hot minute would have been sweet.
