Put Louisiana First

quote:

Both King Alexander and Joe Alleva were hired during the Jindal Administration. The new leadership at the Board of Supervisors has inherited this problem. They now must act quickly to remove Alexander and Alleva. This should be followed by the appointment of a strong interim LSU President and interim LSU Athletic Director not interested in a permanent position and the hiring of proven Flagship quality leaders through a national search.

quote:

The latest example of Alexander's lack of leadership was the bizarre Alexander and Alleva joint official press release stating that holding out basketball player Javonte Smart “does not suggest, in any way wrongdoing”. Then what does it suggest? Why was it done? Clearly these folks are not ready to handle public relations for a high school, much less a internationally known Flagship. Sadly, there has just been so much more, and it’s time to end it now. In sports alone we have seen the disastrous leaked courting of Jimbo Fisher followed by the joint Alexander/Alleva bizarre 3rd quarter "unfiring" of Les Miles, the embarrassing Tom Herman football offer debacle, unnecessary and costly extensions and raises to several underperforming coaches and so much more. The incompetence has lead to dissatisfaction from major sports and academic donors that has severely affected fundraising.

Richard A. Lipsey is the owner, with his family, of Lipsey’s, one of the nation’s largest sporting goods distributors; HASPEL, a major line of men’s tailored clothing; and the founder and partner in Lipsey Communications, LLC, a chain of Sprint wireless phone stores that stretches from Arizona to North Carolina.

Richard is currently a member of the Chief Executives Organization, the World Presidents Organization, the National Sports Shooting Foundation and the Pennington Medical Foundation and the Biomedical Foundation boards. Throughout the years, he has volunteered his time and served on many boards and chair capacities for companies and organizations and remains very active in various community and civic associations.

LA Board of Regents. Mr. Lipsey represents the 6th Congressional District, has chaired the Board for two years and his term of service ended December 31, 2018.

He is one of our biggest boosters.

It's already there. I figured you all would want the info. Most of you seem to eat, drink, and breath LSU Athletics.

Appropriately enough for a Louisiana university, it is obvious Alleva has film footage of someone (multiple people?) in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.

Alleva and Alexander should be lifetime appointments. They represent everything LSU stands for.

Sometimes you need to clean house. LSU fans haven't been thrilled about Alleva for years now and there have been some horrifically embarrassing gaffes. Being the LSU AD is a slam dunk job, you have tons of money and talent to work with... I'm fairly certain you wouldn't have that much trouble filling the position.

The problem is, LSU athletics and Louisiana Politics go hand in hand. It's an abomination.

And yet you cared enough to post in this thread.

frick off. Three weeks until your school becomes irrelevant on this board for their usual 10-month hibernation period.

LSU fans: be as annoying as possible, get attention and backlash from it, claim everybody's obsessed with LSU, rinse and repeat

Wow, that got downvoted? Tough crowd

But yeah, the point stands. If you have bought a firearm from a store, odds are pretty high that the store had purchased it from Lipsey's. They're the biggest distributor in the country.
You're not very likely to know of them because YOU don't buy from them, they buy from the manufacturer and sell to shops, and you buy from shops. It's sort of a hidden layer in the process, but one with a huge amount of cashflow. And that's just one of his companies.

The point of this all- you normally don't hear of guys with this much money going public in their criticism of university administration. They usually do things behind the scenes, and we (the little guys) never hear about it.
For him to start speaking out openly, shite has to be bad.

Well considering that LSU has:
3 national championships in football
6 national championships in baseball
And....
4 final four appearances

While aggot has:
1 national championship in football
0 national championships in baseball
And.....
0 final four appearances

I’d love to know what embodies diet Texas... lmao!
