Let's see now. LSU finished 10-3, #6 in the country and he had that passer rating.

If I read your post correctly your are predicting 8-4 for the tigers?

LSU returns it most talented and deepest team since '11. I don't think they will regress in '19. Think tigers make at least a two game improvement on regular season record.

Two of it's three losses were on the road last year. Think both of those losses will be W's in tiger stadium. Three of LSU's four toughest games are in Baton Rouge.

8-4

This isn’t a particularly good take as it pertains to last season.

Fair enough. What I should have said is the overall defense in the West is better.

Looking back at Kentucky, yall did have two tough west opponents.

ETA: I also now realize that some teams are inapplicable because they weren't ranked.

29-0

All the best defenses give up 29 pts to bad QBs.

so we aren't able to give the defense a shred of credit?

frick no. Unless you mean to give them credit for causing the injury he had to have surgery on to start the game.

I can give you credit for not giving him as much time in the pocket, I can give you credit not giving him easy completions and so on, but as for his actual accuracy....frick no that's just weird.

Again... the conversation is about Tua being bad vs good defenses. Not how LSU did vs other QB’s.

Quit deflecting and accept it!

(and most of the QB’s LSU faced were beans.)

@ refusing to accept reality/context.

LSU fans are fricked.

Trip is 2 hours longer than the drive to Tuscaloosa.

That’s nice, unfortunately no one was talking about trip length or Alabama.

Since the thread is about SEC qbs, and the best SEC qb is the Alabama guy, yeah, lots of people are talking ab out Alabama

Go ahead and include LSU in the cupcake list. 29-0 definitely qualifies as a cupcake beatdown.

Definitely some damn good defense in the conference last year. I’m a football/defense first Cats fan so last year was the season of a lifetime for me. Literally. I can’t imagine what it’s like to see elite level defense on a regular basis let alone double digit wins.

People are sleeping on Terry Wilson. Guy had a solid year. Be interesting to see how he progresses as he gets more of the load with Snell gone.

Rose is a solid back with some good young talent behind him, so he’ll have some support. And Lynn Bowden is one of the better WRs in the conference.

As others have said, we found out about two weeks ago he was dealing with a leg injury for 6 weeks. He specifically said in an interview it effected how well he could throw off that back leg. If he’s healthy, he should be quite a bit better.

For real? An injury to a leg or ankle could affect a quarterback's passing game? gee

It's sarcasm intended for those, mostly LSU fans, that want to ignore the fact that Tua Tagovailoa had a gimpy knee half the season, then an ankle injury vs UGA.

Still, in spite of that, Tagovailoa set a single season record for passing efficiency.

Of course an injury affects a quarterback's entire game. Only a moron would deny it.
