Saw this on another board and thought it was pretty interesting. From ESPN+. Surprised to see 'bama near the bottom of the list. I guess gumps will have another "rebuilding year"

Always on your mind.
Think we got rid of a cancer, but lost some good dudes.
Secondary is going to be suspect again to start the season.
Running back is a huge issue.
Tight end at least has.bodies there now, got some studs but they need to develop.

Very surprised A&M is that high with Achane gone.
But he was out for several games mid year. We’re losing Achane’s production from last year and Kings. That’s just about all.
But A&M lost the THEIR WHOLE TEAM to the portal...

Why? For posting interesting information? Is that frowned upon here?

Damn, if only we were catching App State (131) this year instead of last -
We may have had a chance.

If you are not returning a QB, then the offensive production is severely cut.

Returning starting QBs usually matter a lot. Probably not so much for y'all or Aggie, though.

So LSU-Tennessee might be the trendy pick for Atlanta based off this.

It's possible. Milton looked really good in the Orange Bowl, much better than he did in 2021 and when he was at Michigan. But I don't see how you bet against the Dawgs at this point.

Good point, but not sure Ashford returning should put us so high, and our OL will not be returning many from last year.
Have no idea how productive our WR group will be from returning WR's. I guess I don't understand why we are so high for returning production.
The production was low to begin with.

Always one of the more meaningless stats in football. Becomes more so each year with the portal.

Auburn has never needed talented WRs to win, but you will get them with Freeze. He recruited and developed and some serious WR (and TE) talent at Ole Miss (Moncrief, Treadwell, Brown, Metcalf, Engram, Knox, etc.)

But the LSU AD laughed off a week zero game to prep for FSU even though they're going to play a warm up in week zero.
