Bruce Pearl’s name is coming up a lot with fans and media. Auburn fans, are you hearing anything?

Pearl has no reason to leave Auburn. He's built it from the ashes, he has proven over multiple years that he can sign elite, lottery pick level players, he can win consistently, he's older.

He's not going anywhere.

I heard CBP is getting his Basketball Only Facility and a BIG raise. I do not see Bruce ever leaving Auburn.

Louisville is an absolute shite show on all fronts right now and not just athletics. No decent coach is going to touch that program right now.

I’m sure those dumbasses will say Brad Stevens is begging for the job

Tough to hear anything over Cal’s whining. Probably why Wheeler couldn’t here Oscar call out the screen.

Now that is out of the way, I don’t see Bruce leaving in the near term for a place like Louisville. AU will match the money and Louisville probably isn’t a big enough step up to make him think about it.

Basketball Only Facility
I guess that would go where Beard Eaves is? Would be nice to have something functional there again

I don’t think Mack is a bad coach. Louisville is just in shambles right now and I don’t think anyone will have good success there for a minute. If we fired Kermit I would take him in Oxford in a heartbeat

One of the few jobs I could see him leave for. He would love to piss off BBN even more.

Just money, But I have no idea how much other schools would offer him in comparison

He'd be dumb to leave.

It's not like Auburn not being a traditional "basketball school" in the past has gotten in their way at all, and he's already taken them to a final 4, so it's not like Auburn has a ceiling that will require Louisville to break through.

It would be great to get the Cal/Pearl rivalry from the Memphis/Tennessee era back. That shite was gold.

What happened to athletics at Louisville? Seemed to be on a big upswing with big money donors and facility upgrades, now the bottom falling out across the board.

Auburn - 1 Final Four, no titles, high school gym

Louisville - 10 final fours, 3 titles, 22,000 seat arena

However I don't see Louisville going after a guy like Pearl with his past NCAA troubles after what we are looking at

My guess you will hear the name of the Fruit of the Month Coach in the SEC not named Cal/Bruce/Barnes. Whoever finishes higher.

There were certain people, with UK ties, on the UofL BOT who were appointed by former Governor Matt Bevin. Not that hard to figure out what happened.

Don’t try to bring those kind of facts to the auburn faithful. They are rabid like African bees.

Auburn: currently No. 1 in the country

Louisville: expected to miss the tournament for the second year in a row.

I don't think Bruce needs Louisville to succeed, champ.

If he goes to Louisville over what he has built at Auburn than his family needs to get Pearl put under a pysch. observation hold for a few days.

If you leave a team doing as well as Auburn for somewhere else than it is because the coach and the AD can't pass each other in the hallway without screaming "to the death then!" and trying to strangle one another.
