Daniels will be the guy. He was very impressive with mediocre talent around him at ASU. He doesn't have to be Burrow, he just has to be smart with the football.

I've never been a fan of his arm going back to his HS days. Didn't think he had what it took to be an SEC QB. Still probably right.

Honestly I’m good with either one at one point, both are mobile. At one time I was a big Myles supporter but his time has come and passed, he’s had years to win the job. also Rumor has it both Daniels and Nuss were the two who worked with the receivers the most during the summer

He had 10 TDs to 10 INTs and just under 2400 yards. How is that impressive? He's actually regressed as a player.

Why do LSU and A&M report on each other's camp news

This can't be a serious question.

LSU insider Moscona

That's really funny - Matt has a long history of having limited access to Football Ops and everyone here locally knows it -

You better pay attention to your recruiting targets - that number is shrinking by the day, the majority of which are landing 6 or so hrs east on I-10.

You've managed to be incorrect on both claims. Well done.

Daniels wasn't "very impressive." He was good his freshman year, throwing 17 TDs and 2 INTs, and has regressed since. He had 10 TDs and 10 INTs in 2021, averaging 183 yards per game. His legs were a bigger factor, though, and he added 710 yards on the ground.

He was also throwing and handing off to NFL backs and receivers (Brandon Aiyuk (first round), Rachaad White (third round), Frank Darby, and Eno Benjamin).

Now, there is no doubt Daniels is talented. He has a live arm and the athleticism to escape from troublesome situations. He has been inconsistent, at best, throughout his career though. He was not protected by great OLs in the desert. I imagine having some protection would help him greatly, as he tends to get happy feet when pressured and consistently overthrows when he misses (something SEC safeties may prey upon).

I don’t really get the negative talk on Brennan. Every game he’s played in he’s had great stats and has looked good. I think he’s been out of football too much to get back to that though.

I don’t think nuss is hurt bad according to what’s being reported but he may miss the scrimmage tomorrow which sucks.
I learned a while back that they will put a boot on you for anything when cam Thomas was in a boot and played the next game

I agree about Brennan.

I also don't think it matters who LSU trots out there if they don't get better pass protection.

Brennan was awful on 3rd down and in the 4th quarter of both of his losses. He was bad at evading pressure and he missed a lot of open guys. There is an expectation of what the qb play should be at LSU and he doesn't meet it

That’s not true, you guys really hate Max huh

Well considering he was losing to him last year before Myles slipped on a boat and broke his arm I'd say its just facts not hate
