quote:

"(Chavis) threw his hands up and felt he'd done all he could do," one source said. "They made zero progress offensively and it became a sore point, not that he was pointing fingers, but it led to some uncomfortable feelings.

quote:

Chavis hinted as much when he landed in College Station, Texas, in a private plane with Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin on Jan. 1, saying he was "excited to play with a great offense," according to the Houston Chronicle.

It was the defense that lost them the game.

The defense didn't snap the ball multiple times with 20 seconds left on the playclock

The defense didn't refuse to hand the ball off to Trayveon Williams and Keith Ford

The defense didn't keep the most competent passer on the roster on the bench as everything was falling apart around them

That's the thing. He ""left""" LSU to start a culture at A&M but his defenses constantly underachieve.

The defense did give up 35 unanswered points in a half.

lol Many of us were upset giving up 39 to you guys last year in a blowout win, why aren't y'all upset giving up 45 in a loss, the second to worst comeback in history??

Chavis' contract runs out at the end of this season and was never going to be renewed regardless of the outcome.

Sumlin, however, still has 2 years remaining after this year and needs to be fired last night.

Wrong. It was shitty offense, coaches decision not to put in Hubenak when UCLA loaded up on run, and shitty clock management.

2 field goals in second half, waaay too many 2 minute possessions, etc... we left the D on the field way too long. Guys got worn out. You are an idiot if you think Chavis was to blame for last night. Chavis didn't go 3-17 ... that was our QB.

Lsu fans make more threads about Chavis than A&M fans.

Maybe it's time to let it go.

No.

True, they gave up 35 points but the "unanswered" part is on the offense.

44 points should always be enough to win. This was on Chavis and the defense

Either way, we can all agree Chavis is a fat piece of shite with an ineffective defense in clutch situations. Unite Tigers, Vols, and Aggies
