I still don't think Perkins should be our premiere back next year. Should be Josh Robinson. Perkins is/should be a change of pace back, and will undoubtably be good in that role in the NFL. Dude just runs too straight up and doesn't fall forward on contact. Great outside the tackles and hitting gaps though...



For us to be competitive in the SEC, we need an absolute bruising monster. Dixon was the last one that we had that fit that description -- even Ballard disappeared in games against superior opposition, while Dixon still had success. Nick Griffin fit this mold, but has now blown out both knees. Robinson and perhaps Shumpert certainly fit the stereotype...
