I'm sure it matters to some of us. As for me...I'm happy at how well they're representing the university but, at the end of the day, I couldn't care less about basketball.

Let's be real.....Kentucky and Arkansas are the only two schools where it TRULY matters. Mizzou and Tennessee to a lesser extent care but not like UK and Arky do. Anyone else is front running because they are having their time in the sun. Always been that way.

Nah that's not true. Alabama has cared about basketball for a long time. Kentucky or Arkansas level? No, not across the fanbase. But compared to the rest of the league? As much or more.
Alabama packs shitty Coleman at the slightest hint of possibly being good. Have for 50 years.

Bama fans do not talk about basketball unless they’re good. Same as Auburn.
Does it apply to you? Maybe not but it applies to the fanbase as a whole.

Alabama is 2nd all-time in SEC wins. They have history. And Auburn...well...doesn't.
