Remember LSU gave O an extension after a loss to Daddy Aggy & a 3rd place finish.

This has to be hard to stomach during the holiday season. I would say it’s always darkest before the dawn but it’s going to be dark for another 3 years minimum. One day Saban & Jumbo will retire.

When did LSU give Orgeron an extension?

LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said there haven't yet been discussions to extend head football coach Ed Orgeron's contract on a Tuesday morning interview with "Off the Bench" on 104.5 ESPN, saying "the season's still not over yet."

That's almost as bad as A&M giving Franchione an extension after a 3rd place finish, losing to Baylor for the first time in 20 years and the worst bowl loss in school history...and that ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

Just dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s.

They’re just deciding how many years to garuntee after beating a G5 team.

LSU playing in a New Years 6 game. What bowl are the aggies playing in again? We couldn’t have picked a better year to get cheated by the refs against y’all. We are playing same bowl we would have played if we would have won. As much as it pains y’all, the loss did nothing to hurt LSU

The only thing I thought at that time was "What in the frick????"

One of the THE worst moves ever by A&M with respect to football. Still a head scratcher.

....or they're waiting to see if he's able to win a NY6 bowl and have a top 10 finish. For the bumbling idiot everyone says he is, I think that would be worthy of paying him more than Jeremy Pruitt. As it stands currently, he's one of the lowest paid head coaches in the conference.

that would be almost as bad as A&M paying 75 million dollars to a coach that took 7 OT's to beat Coach O. lol

LSU is going to win the NY bowl and have a top 10 finish. Between that and recruiting he earned an extension. Nowadays these coaches get targeted by other schools pretty quick. An extension is a good thing as long as the buyout isn't "Sumlin like".

Orgeron wasn’t the coach the last time LSU lost to A8M. That was what? Over 20 years ago?

Aggies best LSU for the first time in over two decades and suddenly they’re daddy. What an incredibly weird world you live in.
