Kermit signed a four year/$10 million extension to keep him in Oxford for the foreseeable future. Contract details in the link.

First of all, your linking skills suck.
Second of all, Mississippi state law limits the lengths of contracts to four years. He signed a four year contract last year, so they are extending him for one year, not the four years you are hinting at.
Congrats though, you've got a good coach there. Hope you can keep him.

And it’s a one year extension, but Kermit turns 60 this year. He’s probably not signing many more contracts depending on how much longer he’s looking to go at it. It’s crazy that he was only making $750k at MTSU though

Weren’t y’all a tournament team last year? To pretend like AK left you with an empty cupboard is kind of ridiculous. Kermit will have y’all on probation soon enough and then it will be clear to you why we passed on a native son

Yeah, I really like his style. He coaches it how I would- high energy, super involved calling tons of plays, and mixing defenses all over the place, even mid-possession. i love it. He is fun to watch.

I know you're a troll so I'm wasting my time but Ole Miss finished last in the SEC last year and was predicted to do the same this year.

No one said AK left us with no players. However, our offense was built around a shooting guard who had to shoot lights out from 3point. Hence the reason we have absolutely shite for forwards/centers.

You're responding to the wrong guy. I didn't say anything about AK, and I said Kermit was a good coach. I just pointed out the OP's sloppiness in his reporting.
But, if you want me to be a salty troll, let me just add that hopefully Kermit's proclivity to achieve "Cheat Level: Epic" is no longer an issue. If that's the case, and State finds itself in need, we'll just pick up the phone and call him home.

So you were a tournament team 2 years ago then. We get picked to finish let in the SEC west in football every damn year and usually end up in the middle. That doesn’t mean we have COTYs.

Dude kermit is a pretty good coach.. if ole mis had one decent big and not just a bunch of shooting guards playing different positions they might have done better than they did. I wish state had jumped on him as our coach instead of hiring rick ray

After getting rid of Stan’s before the NCAA set-up shop in Vegas, bringing in Froggie would have been a big FU to the wrong people.
