Do yourself a favor and stop taking anything that man says seriously. He is the radio equivalent to the AJC: either overblowing something positive or negative for UGA.

Honestly, I've always thought that he's been good with UG football coverage.
How do you feel about Matt Chernoff?

I think we're waiting to see how he does in camp. Lot of the incoming freshmen (besides the obvious candidates like Ramsey at QB) will get a shot at PT this year. More than previous years, anyway.

Buck isn't the worst, but his allegiance is to himself and no sports team or program. So while he does bring a personal touch to UGA coverage, he tends to exaggerate for added effect. Most UGA fans realize this and so we can see the real news for what it is. Unfortunately, non-UGA fans either take it as Buck being an ultra-homer or UGA as being doomed.

Chernoff I don't mind. He's definitely better than Chuck Oliver (whom I can't stand; and if you can piss Richt off, you know you're an a-hole)

I think if it were in Sanford it would end up being a bloodletting in UGA's favor. The fact that it's at Clemson will make it tough, especially with freshman defenders starting on a big stage their first game.

In retrospect, she probably should have gone to rehab...

Hey now, I hear she's been sober for 2 years now.

I agree, but I think Swann holds his own with Watkins, which ends up being the difference maker. Jordan Jenkins is about to go ham on that Tiger line though

I agree. I think UGA's defense will make a few more stops because of the way UGA's offense will go at Clemson. UGA should be able to run the ball down Clemson's throat all night. That will give the young UGA defense rest so they should be able to stay pretty fresh.

Edit: We also will have some good individual talents on defense who should be able to make some plays (turnovers, sacks, etc). Jenkins, Swann, Herrera need to play big games for us.

I think shaq wiggins would have played ahead of wilkerson anyway.

I see swann in the slot just like he was last season. connor norman can play the slot as well (he was swann's backup last season).

It's a loss because we wanted all hands on deck.
But he is a true freshman among a lot of other options.
